CHRISTIANSTED — St. Croix will have intervals of clouds and sunshine with a couple of showers around, mainly late in the day, for a high of 87, AccuWeather said.

Tonight St. Croix will be partly cloudy, with a low of 75, according to AccuWeather.

* There is a High Risk of Rip Currents along the northern coast of Puerto Rico, Culebra, St. Thomas, and St. John through late Thursday night. Breaking waves around 6 to 7 feet and occasionally higher in Culebra, St. Thomas, and St. John. On the northern coast of Puerto Rico, breaking waves up to 10 feet.

* A High Surf Advisory is now in effect along the northern coast of Puerto Rico through 6 PM AST this evening due to breaking waves up to 10 feet.

Meanwhile, a frontal system will be moving through the local area today, producing heavy rain that could lead to urban and small stream flooding.
