CHRISTIANSTED — Today St. Croix will be breezy in the morning; otherwise, partly sunny with a brief shower or two this afternoon with a high of 89, AccuWeather said.
Tonight St. Croix will be mainly clear with a low of 75, according to AccuWeather.
St. Croix set a maximum temperature record of 89 on Wednesday, the National Weather Service said today.
“This ties the old record of 89 F set in 2024 and 1972,” the NWS said on X.
The NWS sees a changing weather pattern today.
‘Heat, afternoon showers, and light breeze.” it said on X.
Meanwhile, life-threatening rip currents are possible in areas with a moderate risk, according to the NWS.
