St. Croix: Breezy, more clouds than sun, showers in the morning, high 89

CHRISTIANSTED — St. Croix can expect more clouds than sun today; it will be breezy with a shower in spots this morning followed by a couple of thunderstorms in the afternoon and a high of 89, AccuWeather said.

Tonight St. Croix will experience partly cloudy conditions and a low of 78, according to AccuWeather.

The risk of rip currents will remain low for all coastal areas and beaches of the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico today, the National Weather Service said.

Although conditions will gradually improve, another warm day is expected over western and northern Puerto Rico, according to the NWS.

Meanwhile, a Heat Advisory is in effect until 4:00 p.m. today, the NWS said.

Showers and isolated thunderstorms are very likely in the afternoon mainly over western and northwestern Puerto Rico, according to the NWS.

Another hot day ahead! Northern coastal Puerto Rico may see higher heat indices today from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., the NWS said.
