St. Croix: Cloudy, breezy, a bit of rain in the afternoon, high 86

CHRISTIANSTED — Today St. Croix will be cloudy and breezy with a bit of rain in the afternoon and a high of 86. AccuWeather said.

Abundant moisture from the east and an approaching upper-level trough from the west will heighten the risk of flooding especially this afternoon and tomorrow, the National Weather Service said.

The Saharan Dust and morning cloud cover could lessen the impacts of this disturbance, according to the NWS.

There is moderate risk of life-threatening rip currents today, the NWS said.

” Swim with caution and stay safe!” the NWS said on X.
