A tropical wave will be crossing the region today, the National Weather Service said.
We can expect showers and thunderstorms and an elevated flood risk, according to the NWS.
“Gusty periods and landslides possible,” the NWS said.
Exercise caution, do not cross flooded roads and seek shelter if you hear the crash of thunder!
