CHRISTIANSTED — A St Croix man was arrested for allegedly tampering with a vehicle, authorities said.
Lumoses Donawald, 33, was arrested and charged with trespass, damaging or tampering with a vehicle and petit larceny, the Virgin Islands Police Department said.
The Superior Court issued a warrant for Donawald’s arrest on October 7, 2025, according to the VIPD.
Then on October 26, 2025, at approximately 12:36 a.m., Donawald was arrested by the Patrol Bureau on St. Croix, police said.
Donawald was taken to the Ancilmo Marshall Command in Bassin Triangle where he was taken into official custody.
He was then transferred to the Wilbur H. Francis Police Station in Mars Hill where he was booked and processed.
His bail was set at $1,000.00. Unable to post bail, he was transferred to the custody of the Bureau of Corrections at he John A. Bell Adult Correctional Facility in Estate Golden Grove.
Donawald is scheduled for an advice-of-rights hearing at the Superior Court in Estate Kingshill.
