Jazzmine Ferdinand, 21, was arrested and charged with destruction to property-domestic violence, according to the VIPD.

The charges stem from an incident in where patrol officers responded to a domestic violence call at a Frederiksted residence on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at about 8:00 p.m., police said.

Officers met with Jahmali Johannes, who advised them that Jazzmine Ferdinand “came to his home and started assaulting him and destroying items in his home shortly afterwards,” according to police.

When officers contacted Jazzmine Ferdinand, she advised them that “while at Jahmali Johannes’ residence they got into an argument where he assaulted her, and she then broke several items in his home,” police said.

Johannes and Ferdinand were each taken into official custody, booked and processed.

No bail was offered to either party in keeping with the territory’s domestic violence laws.

The couple was transferred to the custody of the Bureau of Corrections at the John A. Bell Adult Correctional Facility in Estate Golden Grove.

They are each scheduled for an advice-of-rights hearing at the Superior Court in Estate Kingshill this morning.
