Sunshine and some clouds with a shower in our area, high 87

Sunday, November 23, 2025

FINALLY… a hazard-free Sunday!

Mostly sunny skies, only occasional brief showers, pleasant temperatures, and breezy east-northeast winds, the National Weather Service said.

A perfect day for the beach, outdoor activities, or even a chinchorreo route across the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico, according to the NWS.

Tonight St. Croix will experience clear to partly cloudy conditions with a low of 72, AccuWeather said.

LOW RIP CURRENT RISK TODAY!

Mostly safe beach conditions β€” enjoy it!

The swell season is already underway, so days like this are a treat.

Still, isolated dangerous rip currents can occur near piers, jetties & channels. Stay alert & swim near lifeguards.

5-Day Outlook

This Thanksgiving Week , a few isolated afternoon thunderstorms may develop midweek, but they’re not expected to be significant, and no flooding is expected.

The main concern is the potential for hazardous seas and increased rip current risks , as strengthening winds and a weak northerly swell may create dangerous conditions.

In the latest update from the Drought Monitor, some areas in the interior, southwest, and north-central parts of Puerto Rico and St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands are already looking abnormally dry, the NWS said.

β€œAs we enter a drier pattern now, this anomaly could be extended,” the NWS said.
