Woman who tidied up crime scene at Nirvana Bar charged

CHRISTIANSTED — A woman is accused of cleaning up a crime scene after a shooting at a Pan Am Pavilion bar last spring, authorities said.

Angela Minto, 37, was arrested and charged with first-degree reckless endangerment and accessory after the fact, the Virgin Islands Police Department said.

The case began on May 31, 2024, at about 12:40 a.m., when the 911 Emergency Call Center got a report of gunshots being discharged near the Nirvana Bar & Lounge located in the Pan Am Pavilion in Christiansted Town, according to the VIPD.

Responding officers interviewed a concerned citizen who stated that a light skinned male with dreadlocks wearing a white shirt, and jeans exited the Nirvana Bar & Lounge, pulled out a handgun and began to fire approximately five shots into the air.

A Detective from the Criminal Investigation Bureau was assigned to further investigate the
case.

The incident was caught on surveillance camera and revealed that the shooter was Hillman Faucher Jr., and that Angela Minto, who was with Faucher at the time, picked up the spent cartridge casings after he fired the shots.

Hillman Faucher was arrested on June 6, 2024.

On September 23, 2024, a Superior Court Judge signed an arrest warrant for Angela Minto.

On November 11, 2025, 37-year-oldAngela Minto was detained at the Henry E. Rohlsen Airport by Virgin Islands Port Authority (VIPA) and Custom Border Patrol (CBP) personnel.

She was transported to the Wilbur H. Francis Police Station, where she was taken into official custody, booked and processed.

She was booked and remanded to the John Bell Correctional Facility pending her Advice of Rights Hearing set for November 12, 2025, at the Superior Court.
