Wegmans recalls mixed nuts over salmonella concerns

Wegmans is recalling two varieties of its deluxe unsalted mixed nuts due to potential salmonella contamination.

The recalled products were sold in a 34-ounce tub with a best by date of July 28, 2026, and an 11.5-ounce bag with a best by date of Aug. 10, 2024.

The affected products were sold at Wegmans stores in Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. between November 3 and December 1, 2025.

The FDA reports that no illnesses have been linked to this recall.

According to the FDA, healthy people infected with Salmonella often experience fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody), nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain.

Customers are advised to return the mixed nuts to the store for a full refund.
