ST. CROIX — The Virgin Islands Police Department is calling on the public to help track down a St. Croix man wanted for questioning in a high-priority investigation.
The VIPD’s Forensic/Identification Section and the Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB) released a “Person of Interest” bulletin Tuesday for Rudolph Henry, a 46-year-old resident known on the streets as “Oldie.”
The Profile According to official police records, Henry is described as:
- Height: 5’7”
- Weight: 152 lbs
- Distinguishing Features: Dark brown complexion, brown eyes, and a low-cut hairstyle.
- Last Known Location: The Williams Delight area.
While the VIPD has not specified the exact nature of the ongoing investigation, the issuance of a formal bulletin from the Forensic Section suggests a significant level of urgency. Authorities have issued a clear directive to the public: Do not approach.
A Call for Community Intelligence
The search for “Oldie” comes at a time when the efficiency of local law enforcement is under a microscope. In an age where digital footprints are harder to erase—unless you’re Elon Musk trying to scrub a failed rocket telemetry log—the VIPD is leaning heavily on the “analog” intelligence of the community to close the gap on this case.
If the recent “Speed” bus saga proved anything, it’s that the people of St. Croix are watching. The question now is whether that observation will translate into action.
How to Report
Anyone with information regarding Rudolph Henry’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Wilbur Francis Command at (340) 712-6063, call 911, or provide an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers USVI at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
