CASTLE COAKLEY — Hours after an early Sunday morning shooting outside La Terraza Bar and Restaurant left brothers Delli and Yordani Eduardo dead, the Virgin Islands Police Department released a WANTED poster for 27-year-old Eryk Simon.
Detectives with the Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB) named Simon—also known by the aliases “Erick” and “Yunoir”—as a suspect wanted in connection with the double murder.
Suspect Profile & Vehicle Information
According to the official VIPD alert, Simon is described as:
- Age: 27
- Height / Weight: 5’9” | 180 lbs.
- Complexion: Dark / Hispanic
- Hair / Eyes: Black (commonly worn in braids) | Brown eyes
- Place of Birth: Dominican Republic
- Known Areas Frequented: Richmond and Watergut
Police caution that Simon may be operating a white Mazda 4-door SUV bearing Virgin Islands license plate CIQ 191.
Armed and Dangerous Warning
Law enforcement officials have issued a stark warning to the public: Eryk Simon is considered ARMED and DANGEROUS. Members of the public are advised not to approach or attempt to apprehend him under any circumstances.
The VIPD also reiterated that anyone harboring, hiding, or aiding Simon in evading law enforcement will face criminal prosecution.
The CIB asks anyone who sees Simon, spots the white Mazda SUV (CIQ 191), or has information regarding his location to immediately dial 911 or call the VIPD Major Crimes Unit at (340) 778-2211. Anonymous tips can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers USVI at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
