CHRISTIANSTED — St. Croix has made the Caribbean Journal’s list of the “18 best islands to visit in 2018.”

On the CJ list, the Big Island is No. 4 in the list of eighteen islands tourist must visit this year.

“The Caribbean has a new foodie hotspot, and it’s St Croix, filled with a truly impressive collection of top-flight eateries, from Zion Modern Kitchen and Uptown Eatery to Savant, all set in the heart of the beautiful, historic town of Christiansted,” Caribbean Journal writes. “And that’s just part of the story, with the island’s other main town, Frederiksted, seeing a renaissance of its own with the debut of the hip new boutique hotel, The Fred.”

No. 1 on the Caribbean Journal’s list is Antigua and No. 2 on the list is Cat Island in the Bahamas.

The British Virgin Islands is also represented on the list, with the island of Anegada featured at No. 3.
