Armed Robber Paul ‘Bogus’ Girard Is Loose On St. Croix … Considered Armed, Dangerous

FREDERIKSTED — Crime Stoppers USVI said tonight it is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the capture and arrest of accused armed robber Paul “Bogus”Girard.

Girard, 30, of Estate Strawberry is wanted for escaping from the Golden Grove Adult Correctional Facility on St. Croix.

Girard is described by police as being a male with a brown complexion who stands 6-foot, 2-inches tall and weighs about 210 pounds. He wears long black locks, has brown eyes and has a distinctive tattoo on his left shoulder with the name “Linda” on it.

If you see Girard you are warned not to try to apprehend or approach him as he is considered armed and dangerous.

Police did not say when Girard escaped from custody.

He was indicted by the federal government with two other men on October 2 of this year for armed robberies of jewelry stores on St. Thomas that took place in August and September of 2015.
