CHARLOTTE AMALIE — The supervisor of elections said that she “is happy” to report “the steady rise” in voters with the 3 p.m. count in the 2018 Gubernatorial Run-Off Election.
So far, a total of 5,160 people have cast their ballots in the St. Croix district and 4,481 people have voted in the St. Thomas-St. John district, Supervisor of Elections Carolyn Fawkes said.
Fawkes encouraged those who haven’t voted to visit their local polling place. All polls will remain open until 7 p.m. tonight.
“The future of this republic is in the hands of the Virgin Islands voter,” she said.
