CHARLOTTE AMALIE — St. Thomas police are looking for two masked men who held up an Anna’s Fancy restaurant at gunpoint in broad daylight on Monday.
The 911 Emergency Call Center was notified of an armed robbery that took place at Rosa’s Place in Anna’s Fancy at 1:05 p.m. on Monday, the Virgin Islands Police Department said.
“The initial report said that two unknown suspects dressed in all black with masks covering their faces entered the establishment through the rear entrance,” VIPD spokesman Toby Derima said. “Once inside, the suspects took money and other personal items from the business’ employees at gunpoint, then exited the establishment and fled in a vehicle in an unknown direction.”
Rosa’s place has a history of armed robberies dating back to 2016, according to police records.
