The 911 Emergency Call Center dispatched officers to Smith Bay, in the vicinity of the Lone Eagle Superette, in reference to a gunshot victim about 10:32 p.m. Saturday, the Virgin Islands Police Department said.

When he became responsive at the hospital, the victim was uncooperative and did not give officers details of the incident, Derima said.
