2 Masked Armed Men Try To Enter Occupied Hotel Room At Emerald Beach Resort In St. Thomas: VIPD

CHARLOTTE AMALIE — Two masked men armed with handguns went to a Lindbergh Bay resort in St. Thomas on Friday morning and attempted to enter an occupied hotel room.

VIPD Officers along with Virgin Islands Port Authority Officers responded to a report of a robbery at Emerald Beach Resort at 9:51 a.m. Friday, the Virgin Islands Police Department said.

“Investigation revealed two unknown Black males, wearing black hoodies and face masks, armed with handguns, attempted to gain entry into a hotel guest’s room,” VIPD spokesman Toby Derima said. “The guest denied the suspects entry into the room and they subsequently fled the area.”
