CHARLOTTE AMALIE — The Virgin Islands Fire Service advises
the general public that the ban on burning in the territory will be lifted on
Monday.
Although the ban will be lifted October 5, a valid permit will still be required for all outdoor burning, the VIFS said.
Applications for burn permits will be available at the Arson Prevention and
Investigation Unit’s offices in each district, St. Thomas-St.John and St. Croix.
