Police Need Your Help To Find Boy Who Has Been Missing For 11 Days: VIPD

FREDERIKSTED — Police need your help to find a boy who has been missing on St. Croix for the last 11 days.

Shelton H. Charles, 16, was last seen at his home in Estate Diamond West at 7 a.m. on October 30, the Virgin Islands Police Department said.

Charles was described by police as being “a Black male with a light complexion” who stands 5-feet, 6-inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds. He has brown eyes and a short black afro.

Charles is known to frequent a horse stable in the Estate Diamond area (near the Cruzan Rum distillery), according to the VIPD.

If you see Shelton, also known as “Choco Dan,” you are asked to call the police detectives at (340) 712-6029 or 911.

Police first reported that Charles was missing in a tweet on Twitter at 5:12 p.m. Tuesday.

In unrelated missing persons news, police said that runaway 16-year-old Angel Degallerie “presented herself” at the Youth Investigation Bureau office to report she was safe.”

Degallerie had me reported missing by her family on Thursday.
