AT&T Fiber Optic Cable Installation To Lead To Partial Road Closures On Wednesday

CHRISTIANSTED — The Virgin Islands Police Department is advising the motoring public that asphalt restoration related to the AT&T Fiber Optic Cable Deployment Project will result in partial road closures and lane closures from March 17 through March 26.

From 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., work will be performed on Queen Mary Highway, from the Sunny Isle Shopping Center east to the intersection at the St. Croix Majorettes Headquarters., according to the VIPD.

From 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., crews will be working on the Constitution Hill Road, from the St. Croix Majorettes Headquarters intersection east to the Beeston Hill Medical Center intersection. Westbound traffic will be detoured away from Constitution Hill during those working hours.

Motorists are asked to find alternate routes, or leave at least 30 minutes earlier to get to your destination on time. The VIPD apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
