Education Asks St. Thomas To Use Alternate Meal Distribution Sites

CHARLOTTE AMALIE — The Virgin Islands Department of Education said that meal distribution will be suspended at five St. Thomas sites today.

The St. Thomas-St. John District will suspend meal distribution at sites due to a water service interruption at the main kitchen that supplies the meals, according to VIDE.

“WAPA crews are on-site to address the issue,” VIDE said.

Families are asked to visit any of the other meal distribution sites to pick up breakfast and lunch beginning at 9 a.m. today.
