Health Department’s Mobile Vaccine Unit At Rainbow Beach In Frederiksted Today

FREDERIKSTED — The territory’s beaches are open 24-7 and it is the Memorial Day weekend — so that can mean only one thing during the time of the coronavirus pandemic — health officials are coming to you today.

The Virgin Islands Department of Health said this morning it will be providing a mobile vaccine unit to one of the west end’s most popular beaches in case people want to “take their best shot” while they unwind this Sunday.

“We’re bringing the COVID-19 vaccine to beachgoers today at Rainbow Beach on St. Croix from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.,” the VIDOH said on Facebook today.
