The charges stem from an June 2022 incident at the Henry E. Rohlsen Airport parking lot, Superior Court documents indicate.

Police later discovered a damaged black Acura which a witness said Wyre had thrown “a stone and a bottle at the windshield several times before he broke it,” the VIPD probable cause fact sheet states.

“The witness provided a description of the suspect and noted that he had walked towards the airport’s east baggage claim area,” according to a sworn police affidavit.

Officers with the Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB) executed an arrest warrant on Wyre on February 23, according to the VIPD.

Wyre was arrested under the domestic violence statute. No bail was offered as per the territory’s domestic violence laws.

He was advised of his Miranda Rights and “refused” to be booked, police said.

Wyre was transported to the John A. Bell Adult Correctional Facility where he was remanded to the custody of the Bureau of Corrections pending an advice-of-rights hearing yesterday at the Superior Court.

Thereafter, the suspect was booked and remanded back to the custody of the BOC at the prison located in Estate Golden Grove.
