Help police find St. Croix man wanted for assault

CHRISTIANSTED — Police need your help tonight to find a St. Croix man wanted in connection to an incident of domestic violence.

Luis Martinez, 50, is wanted for third-degree assault, the Virgin Islands Police Department said.

Martinez is an Hispanic male with brown eyes, black hair, a slim build and a light complexion. He stands 5-feet, 9-inches tall and weighs 150 pounds.

The suspect was last seen “wearing a black shirt with black and white pants,” according to the VIPD.

Martinez is known to frequent the Richmond and Sion Farm areas of St. Croix.

He drives “a black Jeep Liberty with no plates,” police said in a Facebook post today.
