St. Croix: partly sunny, a passing shower or 2, high of 88

CHRISTIANSTED — Today St. Croix will see a passing shower or two; but, otherwise it will be partly sunny with a high of 88, AccuWeather said.

Tonight St. Croix will be mainly clear with a low of 73, according to AccuWeather.

Seasonably cool temperatures are expected tonight across the islands, with cooler temps in the mountains of Puerto Rico, the National Weather Service said.

Plan for your work week…the chances of rain increase by the end of the week, with temperatures in the mid and upper 80s, according to the NWS.

There is a high risk of “life-threatening rip currents through at least 12:00 noon today, the NWS said.

Dangerous breaking waves could reach heights of 6 feet in Culebra, St. Thomas and northern Puerto Rico, according to the NWS.

The breaking waves will be 4 to 5-feet high around Vieques, St. Croix and southwestern Puerto Rico, according to the NWS.

Those breaking waves could be 2-feet high around the southern coastlines of Puerto Rico, the NWS said.
