CHRISTIANSTED — Today St. Croix will be partly sunny, breezy in the morning, with a brief shower or two and a high of 90, AccuWeather said.
Tonight St. Croix can expect mostly cloudy conditions with a couple of thunderstorms late, according to Accu-Weather.

There is a moderate risk of rip currents off Culebra, St. Thomas and across all northern and northeastern sections of Puerto Rico, the National Weather Service said.
Don’t forget your umbrella! There is a high chance of observed showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the afternoon, according to the NWS.

The heaviest activity is expected across western interior and northwestern sections of Puerto Rico.
Increasing showers and thunderstorms are anticipated starting tonight for the vicinity of the Virgin Islands and eastern Puerto Rico.

The period of most active weather will be tonight and tomorrow morning, but showers will persist through Saturday.
So far, we are NOT anticipating a significant or widespread flooding event, but we are aware that there are too many activities this week across the islands. The most likely impacts are isolated urban and small stream flooding, water surges, mudslides and lightning strikes.
