CHARLOTTE AMALIE — Police have arrested one of two suspects in connection to a July shooting outside a Main Street bar in St. Thomas, authorities said.
Shamall Fleming, 34, was arrested and charged with first-degree assault, the Virgin Islands Police Department said.
The case began on July 19, 2025, at 4:16 p.m., when the 911 Emergency Call Center was notified that two male gunshot victims arrived at Schneider Hospital via private vehicle, according to the VIPD.

Each victim sustained at least one gunshot wound to their body, police said.
Shortly thereafter, 911 was notified that there were shots fired in the vicinity of Store Tvaer Gade, in the area of Bliss Bar & Night Club on Dronningens Gade, according to police
On November 4, 2025, the Criminal Investigation Bureau obtained an arrest warrant for Shamall Fleming , police said.
On Wednesday, November 12, 2025, the arrest warrant was executed by members of the Virgin Islands Police Department, according to police.
Fleming, 34, was taken into official custody advised of his Miranda Rights, booked and processed.
The suspect was transferred to the custody of the Bureau of Corrections at the St. Thomas jail.
Fleming is scheduled for an advice-of-rights hearing at the Superior Court in Charlotte Amalie.
