EAST END, St. Croix — A 59-year-old woman was discovered dead under suspicious circumstances at a house in South Grapetree on St. Croix Friday evening, the Virgin Islands Police Department said.
The 911 Emergency Call Center received a call at around 6:25 p.m. on Friday, November 14, 2025, from a citizen who reported finding an unresponsive female in a residence at South Grapetree, Christiansted, according to the VIPD.
Officers were dispatched to the scene along with Emergency Medical Technicians who concluded that the female did not have any sign of life, police said.
The deceased was identified by next of kin as 59-year-old Eva Ramon, according to police.
In a prepared statement released to the public, the VIPD did not indicate what was s”uspicious” about Ramon’s death.
