Fans beg Mama June to take off her rings as she shows ‘raw’ blistered fingers

Former Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star Mama June Shannon, 46, had fans concerned on November 1, 2025, after sharing a video of her fingers looking raw and blistered from her multiple stacks of rings. The reality star shared the clip as a response to followers commenting that she should clean her jewelry.

The video began with Shannon clapping back at haters for giving her a hard time for “something as simple as me cleaning my rings,” and letting them know that she “cleans them once a month.” However, many were surprised to see some damage and blistering to the reality star’s skin, and became concerned after she said she “wears them 24 hours, seven days a week.”

“I don’t wear these out just for a little show and put them in the jewelry box, baby. No, I wear these all the time. I go to bed with them,” she said. “I don’t clean them that much because it’s hard for me to be able to put them back on, as you can see. I wear them so much that it rubs my bottom of my fingers raw. But anyway, hopefully these are clean enough for y’all.”

The cleanliness of the rings was not the issue at hand for commenters, who were worried about Shannon’s fingers. “Love ’em! Just get them sized right. They will feel better!” said one fan, while another added, “You need to get them resized before you have to get them CUT OFF.”

“Oh my gosh, June…. Take them in and get them resized. Good lord, that looks horrible,” said another, while a fourth wrote, “That looks soooo painful ouchhhh.” Another fan was concerned Shannon may be “cutting off [her] circulation.”

Shannon has been a vocal jewelry fan for years, from sharing TikToks of her visit to New York City’s diamond district to documenting her journey working on custom pieces with a jewelry designer. However, her most special piece is a bracelet charm made with her daughter Anna Cardwell’s ashes after she died following a battle with cancer.

“I got a piece that goes on my bracelet with her ashes on one side, her fingerprint on another side,” she shared on an episode of Mama June: Family Crisis. “That was just my way of keeping my promise to Anna. She wanted to be carried around everywhere; she just didn’t wanna be in a box. I’ll be carrying Anna everywhere… Everywhere.”
