‘Male’ shot and killed in Brewers Bay today

CHARLOTTE AMALIE — An investigation got underway after a “male” was killed near the University of the Virgin Islands campus in St. Thomas today.

Officers responded to multiple 911 reports of gunshots in the John Brewers Bay area of St. Thomas.

Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered an unresponsive male with a gunshot wound to the head, which ultimately proved fatal.

Emergency medical technicians confirmed the man’s death at the scene, with the victim’s identity withheld until next of kin are notified.

Police have reportedly launched an investigation into the incident and are urging anyone with information to come forward.

  1. I was under the impression that that shooting thing was something of the pass, but it look like we getting a new wave of crime, Am just saying, can we just get alone, my prayers to the family.
