EAST END — This story from March 24, 2018 was the Virgin Islands Free Press’ most popular story in terms of unique views for the month of March.

Every month, the most popular story will be repeated right here for your enjoyment!

A one-car accident occurred on the road past Tide Village heading south to Lowry Hill/Estate Marienhoj on St. Croix early this afternoon.

Although three people were inside the car when it overturned, no serious injuries were reported. Nonetheless, whiplash treatment should be explored for anyone experiencing neck pain in the aftermath of the accident.

The driver of the vehicle stated that they saw a deer and tried to avoid it, resulting in the car overturning.

At least 30 minutes after the accident that took place about 12:40 on Saturday, the Virgin Islands Police Department (VIPD) and EMS had still not arrived on the scene. Potentially you could claim against the emergency services for putting your life in danger due to medical negligence if your injuries were bad enough.

The uninjured passengers were two males and one female.

The vehicle involved in the accident appeared to be a late model silver Suzuki Grand Vitara.

The driver of the vehicle questioned the Virgin Islands Free Press’ photographer’s right to take the picture of “his accident.”

No other cars were involved in the accident. It was ruled driver error by police after the fact.

UNLUCKY DRIVER! The driver of the Grand Vitara threatened the Virgin Islands Free Press photographer on March 24 and May 3.
