CHARLOTTE AMALIE — The Office of the Governor, in conjunction with the St. Thomas-Water Island Administrator’s Joint Task Force, will host a meeting for residents of Estate Nadir at 6 p.m. Wednesday, August 15 at the Estate Nadir Community Parking Lot on 2nd Street.
This town hall meeting will provide residents with pertinent information on road construction and other issues impacting the area, as well as allow residents to present their ideas, questions and concerns.
The Joint Task Force team consists of the following agencies:
- Virgin Islands Fire Service
- Virgin Islands Police Department
- Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority
- Department of Health
- Department of Licensing & Consumer Affairs
- Department of Planning & Natural Resources
- Department of Public Works
“It is my duty to ensure we maintain a safe and clean environment,” said St. Thomas-Water Island Administrator Merwin Potter. “Wednesday’s meeting will focus on abandoned vehicles, removal of debris, business inspections, fire safety, as well as health issues. Residents are encouraged to offer their ideas and support, as we work expeditiously on improvements.”
