VIPD: St. Thomas’ Marciano Rivera Arrested In Rape Of Minor

CHARLOTTE AMALIE — An 18-year-old St. Thomas man has been charged in the rape of a minor, authorities said.

Marciano Rivera was arrested about 7 p.m. Thursday and charged with first-degree aggravated rape, first-degree unlawful sexual contact and child abuse of a minor, the Virgin Islands Police Department said.

Marciano bail was set at $250,000. Unable to post bail he was remanded to the custody of the Bureau of Corrections pending an advice-of-rights hearing.
