CHRISTIANSTED — The “No V.I. Child Goes Hungry” feeding initiative has been suspended for the Thanksgiving holiday, the Department of Education said. Feeding will resume on November 30. Thanksgiving meals will be distributed starting today through Wednesday.
The “No V.I. Child Goes Hungry” feeding initiative will not operate in the St. Croix District during the Thanksgiving holiday from Thursday, November 26 through Friday, November 27, 2020, according to VIDE.
Feeding operations will resume Monday, November 30, 2020, VIDE said. Parents are reminded that both meals may be picked up during once-daily distribution from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
The St. Croix District School Food Authority reminds parents that Thanksgiving meals will be given out at the meal distribution sites on the dates listed below.
