KINGSHILL — Police are investigating after a man was found shot dead in front of a nightclub early this morning.

The 911 Emergency Call Center dispatched officers at 12:45 a.m. today to Frontline Bar & Grill located in Estate Colquhoun regarding a male victim with multiple gunshot wounds, the Virgin Islands Police Department said.

Upon officers’ arrival at the scene, they found the body of a male individual with no vital signs laying on the ground with visible gunshot wounds, according to the VIPD.

“The individual was identified by next of kin as 43-year-old Randy A. Lockhart,” VIPD Communications Director Glen Dratte said.

This shooting death is currently under active investigation.
