2 Males Wearing Ski Masks Rob Man In Frederiksted Town

FREDERIKSTED  Two males wearing ski masks beat and robbed a man in town near the pier late Monday night.

A male adult victim walked in at the Wilbur Francis Command Police Station in Frederiksted at 11:23 p.m., and reported the robbery, the Virgin Islands Police Department said.

“The victim stated that while in the Frederiksted town vicinity of the Mildred Cummings Park, he was approached by two unknown male individuals who physically assaulted him and robbed him of an undisclosed amount of money,” VIPD Communications Director Glen Dratte said.  

The suspects were described as Black males, approximately 5’5”/5’7” in height, wearing black ski masks, according to Dratte.

The victim sustained no visible injuries, and no weapons were reported during the robbery, police said.

“The detectives are currently investigating this robbery.” Assistant Chief Detective Lt. Marisol Colon said.
