VIPD: Kevon Benjamin Edwards Gunned Down Near Harbor View Apartments Friday Night

FOUND WITH MULTIPLE GUNSHOT WOUNDS: KEVON BENJAMIN EDWARDS, 20. OF ST. CROIX.

CHRISTIANSTED — Police say a St. Croix man was brutally gunned down near a Golden Rock housing community on Friday night.

Kevon Benjamin Edwards, 20, sustained multiple gunshot wounds near Harbor View Apartments about 8:30 p.m. on Friday, according to the Virgin Islands Police Department.

Edwards was identified by his family members as the dead man.

On Friday April 20, 2018 at about 8:30p.m., the 911 Emergency Call Center received a call of a man down in the Harbor View Apartments Golden Rock, Christiansted.

Upon arrival officers discovered an unresponsive male who turned out to be Edwards.

He was accused of domestic violence by his girlfriend in February of 2017.
