POLICE: St. Croix’s Kadeem Harris Sr. Arrested for Alleged Assault of Girlfriend in F’sted

FREDERIKSTED — A St. Croix man was arrested on domestic violence related charges on Friday, authorities said.

Kadeem Harris Sr., 26, was arrested about 4:46 p.m. Friday by the Virgin Islands Police Department (VIPD) and charged with simple assault and battery-domestic violence.

A woman went to the Wilbur Francis police station in Frederiksted and reported that she was assaulted by a male acquaintance, while she was walking her children home from school, the VIPD said.

On June 6, 2018, Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Bureau’s, Domestic Violence Unit contacted Harris and he was placed under arrest without incident.

Harris was offered bail in the amount of 1,000. 00 as per chart. Unable to post bail, he was taken to the Golden Grove Adult Correctional Facility where he was remanded pending an Advice of Rights hearing.
