Police Say St. Croix’s Tahmal Brinkley Shot To Death Near Little Fountain, Frangipani

FREDERIKSTED — Police said they responded to a discharging of gunshots Saturday night in the Frangipani area of St. Croix and found a man dead.

Tahmal “Bushwick” Brinkley, 30, was identified by next of kin as the man police found in the Little Fountain area of Frederiksted.

On Saturday June 30, 2018 at approximately 9:21 p.m., a called came into 911 for a discharging of gunshots in the Frangipani area, the Virgin Islands Police Department said.

EMTs  on the scene were unable to find any vital signs on Brinkley.

Brinkley had succumbed to injuries sustained from multiple gunshot wounds to the body, according to the VIPD.

The incident is an active investigation by the Criminal Investigations Bureau (CIB)
