St. Croix’s Tomas Melendez Wanted For Contempt of Court in Domestic Violence Case

FREDERIKSTED — Police said they need your help today to find a St. Croix man who is wanted for contempt of court.

The Virgin Islands Police Department put out a wanted poster on 39-year-old Tomas Melendez III at 5:11 p.m. Sunday.

Melendez is described by the VIPD as being an Hispanic male who stands about 5-feet, 9-inches tall, weights about 160 pounds with black hair, brown eyes, some facial hair, medium brown hair and a light complexion.

Melendez is known to frequent Hospital Ground on St. Thomas. On St. Croix, he is normally seen in Williams Delight, and Campo Rico — all located in the Frederiksted area.

Police said that he operates a Red GMC Sierra pickup truck, with Veterans Affairs license plate of “V-31.”
