One Person Dead, Four People Injured After Puerto Rico Nightclub Shooting Today

SAN JUAN — Police in Puerto Rico say one person has died and four others were injured following a shooting at a nightclub in the U.S. commonwealth.

Authorities said in a statement that the shooting occurred early today at a club called Like in the capital of San Juan.

The club was hosting a special event because today is a Columbus Day holiday in Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.

No one has been arrested. Police said they are investigating what prompted the shooting.
