St. Croix’s Angel Christian Accused of Strangling, Hitting Woman With Wooden Object

ARRESTED AND CHARGED WITH DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: ANGEL CHRISTIAN OF ST. CROIX

FREDERIKSTED — A woman told police that a man had strangled her, hit her with his hands and with a wooden object.

Angel Christian, 56, was placed under arrest on Wednesday and charged with second-degree assault-domestic violence, the Virgin Islands Police Department said.

Police said the domestic violence incident took place on Tuesday.

The case is current under active investigation by the Domestic Violence Unit.
