VIWMA Shuts Down Waste Treatment Plant At Mangrove Lagoon In St. Thomas

CHARLOTTE AMALIE — The Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority (VIWMA) said that the sewage receiving area at the Mangrove Lagoon Wastewater Treatment Plant on St. Thomas is closed until further notice.

The VIWMA Preserving Paradise team said that it “truly apologizes for any inconvenience that this may cause and would like to thank the community for their patience and cooperation.”
