VIPD: St. Thomas’ Corsic Aaron Arrested And Charged In Missing Jewelry Case

CHARLOTTE AMALIE — A woman in Estate Frydenhoj told police on January 25 that 15 pieces of jewelry valued at $9,000 were removed from her residence.

Corsic Aaron, 43, of St. Thomas, was arrested about 3:30 p.m. Monday and charged with grand larceny and possession of stolen property, the Virgin Islands Police Department said.

On Monday, April 22, 2019 about 2:15 p.m.,  the victim stated she was present at the Virgin Haven Bar and Restaurant ordering some food when she observed Aaron wearing some of the jewelry that was removed from her residence.

“The victim called 911 and the officers responded. Mr. Aaron was brought to Adam Command where the jewelry was identified by the victim as her stolen jewelry,” VIPD spokesman Glen Dratte said.

Aaron’s bail was set at $25,000.00. Unable to post bail, he was turned over to the Bureau of Corrections pending an advice-of-rights hearing.
