The 911 Emergency Call Center got a report of a stabbing in Estate Cane Carlton about 5:25 a.m. on Sunday.

A police investigation revealed that Lynch and an unnamed man got into a “physical altercation,” according to the VIPD.

“Ms. Lynch became enraged after the altercation and stabbed a male individual in the thigh area multiple times,” VIPD spokesman Glen Dratte said.

The unidentified man received medical attention for his injuries at the Juan F. Luis Hospital, according to Dratte.

A witness who was present at the time of the incident corroborated the account of what happened, police said.

Lynch was advised of her Miranda Rights and placed under arrest after the incident.

No bail was set as per the territory’s domestic violence law.

Lynch was remanded to the custody of the Bureau of Corrections at the Golden Grove Adult Correctional Facility pending an advice-of-rights hearing.
