SRMC: Anna’s Retreat Man Allegedly Raped 13-Year-Old Boy 5 Times By Threatening to Kill Him With A Knife

CHARLOTTE AMALIE — A St. Thomas man is accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old boy on at least five occasions by threatening to kill him with a knife if he didn’t submit to his demands, authorities said.

The Virgin Islands Police Department will not release the name of an 18-year-old Anna’s Retreat man who is charged with first-degree aggravated rape.

The 13-year-old St. Thomas boy went to the Schneider Regional Medical Center about 6 p.m. Sunday to report the sexual assaults, sources said.

The boy also told police that the St. Thomas man not only threatened to kill him, but threatened to hurt his family and promised to kill minor children in the neighborhood if he ever told anyone about the incidents of sexual assault.

  1. If his name is not released to the public, how are people going to know he’s a sex offender?
