Man Shot At St. Croix Yacht Club Today In ‘Serious, But Stable Condition’: VIPD

EAST END, St. Croix — One man was found to be injured seriously after 911 emergency dispatchers received calls of shots fired at Teague Bay near the Yacht Club this afternoon, authorities said.

“A male victim sustained a gunshot wound to the upper body and was transported in a private vehicle to the Juan F. Luis Hospital,” VIPD spokesman Glen Dratte said. “The victim is in serious but stable condition at this time.”

Dratte said the calls came in to the 911 Emergency Call Center about 12:30 p.m. today.

The case is under active investigation by members of the Criminal Investigation Bureau.
