Stabbing Victim On St. Thomas Won’t Reveal To Police His Attacker

CHARLOTTE AMALIE — Police patrol units were dispatched to the Schneider Regional Medical Center, in reference to a man being stabbed late Saturday night, authorities said.

When police arrived at the hospital early Sunday morning, they met with the victim who refused to give a statement, the Virgin Islands Police Department said.

“The victim was stabbed in the area of Wendy’s from an unknown male, who stabbed him in the left leg,” VIPD spokesman Glen Dratte said. “The victim does not have knowledge of who this suspect may be.”

The man sustained a puncture wound to the thigh and received four stitches at SRMC, according to Dratte.

This case is currently under active investigation by the Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB).
