VIPD Closes Central Records, Firearms Bureau; Stops Fingerprinting Services

FREDERIKSTED — The Virgin Islands Police Department said it is closing non-essential offices indefinitely as part of its efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the territory.

The Central Records Bureau offices, Firearms Bureau offices and fingerprinting services territory-wide are closed until further notice, according to the VIPD.
